Gurlfriendology: Pearls and Paint Parties are here!!!

Based off my "Gurfriendology" art exhibit last year, I have decided to start doing paint parties again. My goal is for the parties to be an "art experience," not just a paint party! You can book an intimate paint party of 10 at my home gallery. I will do parties up to 35 people. However, you have to have the location for me to come and set up if it's more than 10 people. There is a 25% deposit to hold the date. The cost per person is $25.00. If you have more questions, feel free to call me at 318 286 3846 or email at [email protected] Let's Paint!

Invest In Your Local Artist!

Your average artist creates because they have to. It is like air. We put our heart and soul into our work.In the end we want that special customer to walk in and desire to take a piece of us home with them. Everytime a customer leaves with one of my originals, it fills my heart and feeds my soul. This past Christmas season, I was blessed when one of my great local collectors, the Frasier's,  did most of their Christmas shopping with me. Several of my originals found a new home that day along with several of my prints. Invest in your local artist! Give the gift of art! Keep your local artist engaged in the community: higher your local artist to do a service, paint live at an event or ask your local artist to speak with a group of kids to show them positive role models. We thrive on community involvement.

2016 Highland Jazz and Blues Poster

I was selected to design this year’s poster. I was nervous but excited to do so. The festival embodies the Highland Historical neighborhood and I wanted to do it justice.  A version of the image will be used on the T-shirts and cups! To say I am excited is an understatement. It was a great honor to do this year’s poster!!

I am excited to still be deeply involved in the arts community in NW Louisiana. The current project that I am working on is with an international artist. I hope the rest of my year in art is exciting as my first month of 2016! Peace Love and Make Art!!! oxox
